- 6 cups Tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Basil dried
1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they start to break down.
4. Pour in water, add salt, pepper, and dried basil. Bring to a boil.
5. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
6. Blend the mixture until smooth using a blender.
7. Strain the blended mixture to remove any solids.
8. Serve hot.
