Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 4 bags Thai tea bags
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup tapioca pearls
  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half

Instructions 

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan.
  2. Add the Thai tea bags and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  4. Cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  5. Divide the cooked tapioca pearls between two large glasses.
  6. Fill the glasses with ice and pour the tea over the ice, leaving some room at the top.
  7. Add milk or half-and-half to taste. Stir and enjoy with a straw.
