  • 4 Pears peeled and cored
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 bags Black tea
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Vanilla pod split

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add tea bags, sugar, cinnamon stick, and vanilla pod. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. 2. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the peeled and cored pears to the saucepan. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender.
  4. 4. Remove pears from the liquid and let them cool. Serve warm or chilled.
