- 4 Pears peeled and cored
- 4 cups Water
- 2 bags Black tea
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Vanilla pod split
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add tea bags, sugar, cinnamon stick, and vanilla pod. Stir until sugar dissolves.
2. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add the peeled and cored pears to the saucepan. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender.
4. Remove pears from the liquid and let them cool. Serve warm or chilled.
