Tea Brined Turkey Recipe
A flavorful turkey brined in tea for a unique twist on a classic dish.

Brine
- 1 gallon Water
- 8 bags Black tea
- 1 cup Salt
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- 1 Turkey (12-14 pounds)
1. Boil water and steep tea bags for 10 minutes.
2. Remove tea bags, add salt and sugar, stir until dissolved.
3. Cool the brine completely.
4. Submerge turkey in brine, refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
5. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
6. Remove turkey from brine, rinse and pat dry.
7. Roast turkey in a roasting pan for 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
8. Let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
