Ingredients 

Brine Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 bags Black Tea
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Salt
  • 4 cups Ice

Instructions 

  1. 1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot.
  2. 2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar and salt until dissolved.
  4. 4. Add 4 cups of ice to cool the brine.
  5. 5. Submerge your poultry or pork in the brine and refrigerate for 4 hours.
