Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoon black tea leaves
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 4 pods cardamom crushed
  • 4 cloves cloves
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 2 tablespoon sugar or to taste
  • 1 cup milk optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add black tea leaves, cinnamon stick, crushed cardamom pods, cloves, and sliced ginger.
  3. 3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Add sugar and milk (if using), and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Strain the tea into a teapot and serve hot.
