Main Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoon black tea leaves
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 4 pods cardamom crushed
- 4 cloves cloves
- 1 inch ginger sliced
- 2 tablespoon sugar or to taste
- 1 cup milk optional
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
2. Add black tea leaves, cinnamon stick, crushed cardamom pods, cloves, and sliced ginger.
3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
4. Add sugar and milk (if using), and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
5. Strain the tea into a teapot and serve hot.
