- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1.5 cups Sugar
- 2 units Eggs large
- 3 cups All-purpose flour sifted
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack.
