  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
