Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
