  • 4 cups water
  • 1 piece ginger root peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions 

  1. Boil water in a saucepan.
  2. Add sliced ginger and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and strain the ginger.
  4. Stir in honey and lemon juice.
  5. Let it cool, then pour over ice cubes in a pitcher.
