Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags black tea
  • 0.25 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Ice cubes
  • Honey or sugar to taste (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Boil water in a pot.
  2. Add tea bags and mint leaves, then let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and mint leaves.
  4. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  5. Pour the tea into a pitcher, add lemon slices and ice cubes.
  6. Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired.
  7. Serve chilled.
