Main Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 bags black tea
- ½ cup dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¾ cup dark rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags.
Add brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Whisk until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
Stir in rum and vanilla extract. Serve hot in mugs.
