4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.
6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough.
7. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts over the butter.
8. Roll up the dough tightly and form into a ring. Place on a baking sheet.
9. Make cuts around the ring, about 1 inch apart. Let rise again until doubled.
10. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
