Main Ingredients
- 2 bags Earl Grey tea steeped in 1 cup of hot water
- ½ cup Butter melted
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs beaten
- 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
Steep the Earl Grey tea bags in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
Add the beaten eggs and cooled tea to the butter mixture. Mix well.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
