Main Ingredients
- 225 g Self-raising flour
- 55 g Butter cold and diced
- 150 g Cheddar cheese grated
- 150 ml Milk
- 1 teaspoon Mustard powder
- 1 pinch Salt
Preheat your oven to 220°C (200°C fan) or 425°F.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, mustard powder, and salt.
Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Stir in the grated cheese.
Add the milk gradually to form a soft dough.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly.
Roll out to about 2 cm thick and cut into rounds using a cutter.
Place on a baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
