Ingredients

  • 1 cup black tapioca pearls
  • 2 cups water for boiling tapioca pearls
  • 2 tablespoon black tea leaves
  • 1 cup hot water for brewing tea
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar adjust to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the tapioca pearls: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the tapioca pearls and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they float to the top. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. 2. Brew the tea: In a teapot, add the black tea leaves and pour 1 cup of hot water over them. Let it steep for 5 minutes, then strain the tea leaves.
  3. 3. Assemble the drink: In a glass, add the cooked tapioca pearls. Pour in the brewed tea, followed by the milk. Stir in the sugar to taste.
  4. 4. Serve: Add ice if desired and serve immediately.
