- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Unsalted butter cold and cubed
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 large Egg beaten
- 2 tablespoon Milk
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cold, cubed butter and rub it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Stir in the beaten egg and milk until the dough comes together.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Use a cookie cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.
