Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags black tea
  • ½ cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cups ice

Instructions 

  1. Boil water in a saucepan.
  2. Add tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.
  4. Let the tea cool, then pour into a pitcher.
  5. Add lemon juice and ice. Stir well.
  6. Serve chilled.
