- 1 cup self-raising flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 50 grams butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar.
Add the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased cake tin.
Bake for 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy with a cup of tea!
