Instructions
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
2. Add black tea leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, and grated ginger.
3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Add sugar and milk (if using), and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
